Is therapy for me?
Changes in life, like the death of a loved one, moving to a new city, losing a job, ending a relationship, or being diagnosed with a chronic illness or disability can have a big impact on how you feel. You might notice you’re feeling more sad, angry, worried, or lonely than usual.
Everyday stresses like juggling work, family, and social life might have you doubting yourself, struggling to connect and feel loved in relationships, or feeling dissatisfied with your career.
If you are Black, Indigenous, a person of color, queer, trans, gender expansive, or live with a disability, you may be tired of being strong. You may notice certain spaces and people where you don’t feel comfortable being your full self.
In therapy you can feel understood, valued, and empowered to heal and grow. In therapy you can explore and celebrate your culture, your wisdom, your strengths, and your identities.
I provide individual counseling, play therapy, and child-parent relationship therapy. I also provide group therapy for women and femmes of color. Click below to find the right type of counseling for your needs.
For safety, I currently offer video counseling sessions due to COVID-19. We will meet via a secure teletherapy platform for our appointments.
I offer a FREE 20 minute video consultation to help us get to know one another and decide if we are a good fit. I look forward to talking with you soon!
